This Privacy Policy describes in detail how Deepdot SIA (the “Company”) collects, uses, processes, stores, and otherwise handles personal data in connection with the provision and operation of its Service and applies to all individuals who interact with the Service, including registered users, representatives of Client organizations, website visitors, and individuals whose data may be included within the datasets made available through the Service. The Company processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), and acts as a controller in respect of certain processing activities, while Clients accessing and using the Service act as independent controllers with respect to any personal data they obtain, analyze, or otherwise process through the Service, and the allocation of responsibilities between the Company and the Client shall be interpreted accordingly. Personal data processed by the Company may include account-related information such as names, email addresses, billing details, and communication records, as well as usage data including login activity, access logs, device identifiers, IP addresses, and interaction histories, and may further include information relating to individuals in a professional or business context, including roles, affiliations, and publicly visible activities, which are collected, aggregated, structured, and presented as part of the Service. The Company does not guarantee that such information is accurate, complete, or up to date and does not independently verify all data, and individuals and Clients are encouraged to exercise independent judgment when relying on such information. The Company processes personal data for multiple purposes, including the provision, maintenance, and improvement of the Service, enabling functionality and access, managing user accounts and subscriptions, performing billing and payment processing through third-party providers such as Stripe, ensuring the security and integrity of systems, detecting and preventing fraud or abuse, conducting analytics and product development, enforcing its legal rights, and complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations. The legal bases for such processing include the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract, the legitimate interests pursued by the Company in operating and enhancing a business intelligence platform, maintaining system security, and supporting transparency in economic activity, and compliance with legal obligations, and where required, processing may be based on consent. Where the Company relies on legitimate interests, it considers that the data processed primarily relates to professional or business activities and that the impact on individuals is proportionate and limited, and that appropriate safeguards are implemented to mitigate potential risks, although individuals retain the right to object to such processing where applicable. Personal data may be shared with third-party service providers engaged by the Company, including hosting providers, infrastructure providers, analytics providers, and payment processors, as well as with competent authorities where required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, and may be transferred outside the European Economic Area subject to appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms. The Company retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect its legitimate business interests, and retention periods are determined based on the nature of the data, the purposes of processing, and applicable legal requirements, and may vary accordingly. Individuals whose personal data is processed may have rights under applicable law, including the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and such requests may be submitted to the Company subject to identity verification and applicable legal limitations, and the Company may refuse or limit such requests where permitted by law, including where processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations, for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or where overriding legitimate grounds exist. The Service may involve automated processing techniques used to structure, analyze, and prioritize information, but does not involve solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals, and any outputs generated by the Service are intended to support human decision-making rather than replace it. The Client acknowledges and agrees that, when accessing or using personal data obtained through the Service, it acts as an independent controller and is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including establishing a lawful basis for processing, implementing appropriate safeguards, and responding to data subject requests, and the Company shall not be responsible or liable for any misuse of personal data by the Client or any third party. The Company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, but cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaims liability for any breaches resulting from factors beyond its reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from the processing of personal data and limits its liability as set out in the Terms and Conditions. The Company reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and any changes shall become effective upon publication, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy, and individuals may contact the Company regarding data protection matters or lodge complaints with the competent supervisory authority, including Data State Inspectorate, if they believe that their rights have been violated. If your personal data is included in the datasets made available through the Service, you may contact the Company regarding the processing of your personal data by writing to: [email protected] . The Company will review such requests and inquiries in accordance with applicable data protection laws, taking into account the nature of the data, the source from which it was obtained, and the legal basis for its processing. Depending on the circumstances, certain actions may be limited where the data originates from third-party sources or where the Company has legal grounds to continue processing such data. The Company will assess each request in accordance with applicable data protection laws and may refuse requests where processing is necessary for legal obligations or overriding legitimate interests. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the data and does not independently verify all information.
